Los Perros is…

located on a world-class resort and residential community on Nicaragua’s pristine Emerald Coast, Casa Los Perros is a four bedroom, four and a half bathroom home with a separate two bedroom, two bathroom casita located above Playa Los Perros. While Casa Los Perros does not have a pool, it is steps away from the Pacific Ocean (a very large “pool”).

The year was 1995. My sister, my dad, and I stood on a cliff, looking out at the ocean. The hot wind whipped our hair. Waves crashed on the rocks below, and my breath was suspended as I squinted through the sun.

Our guide explained in broken English what we were looking at: Costa Esmeralda, the Emerald Coast.

The Story

December of 2017 marked twenty years since six friends (our “Accidental Developers”) visited Nicaragua to scope out a piece of land for sale. They were hooked, and returned to purchase the rugged, sprawling 2,700 acres.

In the years to come, the founders built homes for themselves and their friends, and our community continued to grow. Additional homes brought the need for infrastructure – roads were built, water filtration systems and electricity were put in place. Los Perros itself is owned by the Bonner Family and invites all of the luxuries of the Ranch while maintaining the feeling of coming home that is signature of all three of our magical properties.
